The Humber Seafarers' Service Limited operates the Seafarers' Centre in Immingham. These Centres are manned by staff, volunteers and Chaplains all of whom are committed to the well-being of the visiting ships' crews. The staff man and maintain the Centre and provide support and facilities to seafarers and the companies situated on the docks and their employees. The Chaplains and some of the volunteers visit ships in the docks and on the river berths. They bring both pastoral care and counselling and provide outreach services.
